The HOT ROCK Steak Experience

Originally launched in our pub some 15 years ago the concept was there but it's only now having relaunched in late 2025 after a 6 year absence that we have the quality local produce & custom made presentation to match. 

What is the Hot Rock?  The Hot Rock is a unique steakhouse dining experience & different way of enjoying a steak, as far as we can tell we are the only venue in or near Staffordshire that offers something like this. 

Your chosen cut of meat is simply seared by our chef (quickly charred on the outside to add colour whilst ensuring there is no cooking on the inside). The steak is then presented on a 400°c volcanic stone along with a full array of steak accompaniments including a home made steak sauce of your choice... this immediately transforms your table into a stage where smoke, hisses & crackles & the smell of premium grade charring steak can be found, each slice can be cooked to your own spec & the flavour the volcanic stone injects into the steak is something no grill or pan can match. Believe us when we say this does turn heads, food theatre at its finest but the quality in the produce is there to back it up.
